Short Description
We are an IRS tax exempt 501(c)(3) Florida non-profit corporation since 02/14/2000. We have been headquartered in Hamilton County since 2007. Currently our primary program is "Prevent-a-Litter" to subsidize spay/neuter surgeries for low-income pet owners and feral cat caretakers to reduce the overpopulation of unwanted and abused dogs and cats in our area which includes Hamilton, Madison and Suwannee counties. We also support programs such as the dog training program at the state prison in Jasper (Hamilton Hounds' New Leash on Life), humane education and assist with other needs as they occur.
